Performance with Greg Saunders

  • RMIT University Building 57 53 Lygon Street Carlton Australia (map)

March sees RMITV welcome Greg Saunders as a very special guest speaker.

Greg will give a 1-hour talk covering all things performance, drawing from his 40+ years experience as an actor, director and drama coach. Greg has worked on shows and films such as Barracuda and Nowhere Boys (Matchbox/ABC), Sunshine (SBS), Glitch (Netflix/ABC), Animal Kingdom (Porchlight), Ride Like A Girl (To be released), and Charlotte’s Web. He has also performed for all major theatre companies in Australia.

Some of the topics that will be covered are:

Performance for the screen.

Authenticity, Intimacy and Organic performance. What is complicity?

Approaches for comedy vs drama, is there a difference?

What is character?

Greg will also run a few interactive exercises on the night and will happily engage in a Q and A session at the end for those interested.

RMITV members who are interested in performance for comedy and drama, or presenting in broadcast television, are encouraged to attend.
