RMITV presents: CBF Grant Applications with Jon King
This July, RMITV and the Community Broadcasting Foundation will run a how-to workshop on applying for a CBF Grant for your broadcast television show/web series/radio show etc. Each year the CBF grants more than $16.8 million to help 220 community media organisations communicate, connect and share knowledge through independent radio, television and digital media.
We’ll be joined by Jon King who works at the Community Broadcasting Foundation helping community media producers get funding to make cool things. He has experience as a music director/trainer/presenter/producer at SYN, producing live music videos with Basements Apes Live, as a trustee for the Melbourne chapter of the Awesome Foundation and is currently working on a webseries about moving in with a prepper.
Some of the topics that will be covered are:
- What is a CBF grant
- When can you apply for a CBF grant and how much is available for each project
- A step-by-step breakdown of how to apply for a CBF grant
Location: RMIT City Campus, exact location TBD (you will be emailed at a later point with a room number)
Date: Friday 12th July, 2019
