April sees RMITV welcome Denise Eriksen as a very special guest speaker.
Denise will give a 1-hour talk covering all things relating to television audience analytics and metrics, drawing from her 20+ years of experience as a producer and television executive. Denise has an impressive resume including Head of Production and Development at SBS Television and Online, Head of Factual at the ABC, and Head of Current Affairs at the ABC. She has also worked as an Executive Producer for Foxtel, ITV, and Beyond Productions and has led training courses at AFTRS, ABC, SBS, NITV, and the BBC. RMITV are thrilled to welcome Denise to our organisation for a night of insightful wisdom and stories from the industry.
Some of the topics that will be covered are:
Network audience analytics: how networks measure what audiences want and how those measurements are used in decision-making processes.
How content-demands differ for each network: what content each network looks for.
How programming schedules work within major networks.
Denise will also happily answer questions from the audience and will have an audio-visual presentation on the night.
RMITV members who are interested in programming, audience trends, television writing, and television producing are encouraged to apply.
