Nick Jones

Board Member

Nick Jones was born Kal-El on the alien planet Krypton. Before the planet was destroyed, his parents launched him to Earth in a small spacecraft. He crash-landed in Kansas, where Jonathan and Martha Kent raised him…hang on…

In truth, Nick studied Screen and Media Production, and is hopefully remembered for his writing, not as Cheesehead from “Quiz Night”. He is a self confessed nerd, comedy aficionado, and has consumed more media content than is probably healthy.

Yvonne Cross

Treasurer

As Treasurer of RMITV, Yvonne is responsible for managing the organisational finances and supporting RMITV’s continued growth as a strong, sustainable and well-governed organisation.

She is a lawyer with significant experience in Australia and overseas. Having lived overseas for many years, Yvonne knows firsthand how important Australian television is to keep people connected with their home.

Yvonne has a particular passion for comedy and is keen to help RMITV support emerging comedic talent, while also exploring opportunities for growth in digital content, especially YouTube.

Carynn Lim

Carynn Lim was a Project Lead and Event Producer who left that chapter behind to pursue her passion in Filmmaking. After working closely with many international brands for festivals, activations, and gala dinners, Carynn realised that she has always had a very strong passion for bringing stories and visions to life!

Now, Carynn is doing her Master of Media at RMIT and can be found working on as many productions as she can get her hands on. Recently, she has been involved as a Floor Manager & Director’s Assistant for RMITV’s Fishin’ for Love, and is also the Floor Manager for Field of Play. The journey will continue, and she is VERY excited for the things to come!
