What to do if you’ve tested positive for COVID-19

What to do if there's a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 on your production:

There are two primary ways you’ll become aware of any positive cases.

  1. Your producer informs you, or;

  2. The General Manager informs you.

If this happens, there are a few things you will be required to do:

  • If you are deemed a close contact, you should get tested immediately and isolate until receiving a negative result.

  • Once you receive a result (either positive or negative), you are required to inform your producer.

  • If you test negative, you will be allowed to return to production.

  • If you’re a producer and someone on your crew informs you that they’ve tested positive, you must inform the General Manager ASAP.

What to do if you've tested positive for COVID-19:

  • Isolate and follow all Health Department advice.

  • Inform your Producer ASAP if you’ve been on an RMITV production in the last week.

  • Inform the General Manager if you were at an RMITV event or workshop in the last week.

  • You may return to production once you’ve completed your isolation period and are no longer symptomatic.
